Frequently Asked Questions
What would you like to know?
Find answers to commonly asked questions about life coaching and myself.
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a collaborative process that helps you gain clarity, build confidence, and take action toward what matters most to you. Coaching focuses on the present and future, supporting you to move forward with intention rather than analysing the past.
How is life coaching different from therapy or counselling?
Coaching is forward focused. It supports growth, confidence, and decision making. Therapy and counselling often focus on healing past trauma or mental health conditions. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy and works best when you are ready to take action and create change.
Who do you work with?
I specialise in working with women in tech and business who feel stuck, undervalued, or hesitant to speak up. Many of my clients are high achievers who struggle with confidence, visibility, imposter syndrome, or work life balance.
What challenges do clients usually bring to coaching
Common topics include confidence at work, speaking up in meetings, career progression, motivation, self doubt, burnout, boundaries, and navigating change in both professional and personal life.
How do coaching sessions work?
Sessions take place online via Zoom. Each session is a safe, confidential space where we explore your goals, challenges, and next steps. Coaching is tailored to you, there is no one size fits all approach.
How long is a coaching session?
Sessions usually last between 60 minutes, depending on the package and format agreed in advance.
How many sessions do I need?
Some clients gain clarity in just a few sessions, while others choose to work together over a longer period to create deeper and more sustainable change. This is something we discuss during the free introductory call.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free introductory call so we can explore what you would like support with and see if coaching feels like the right fit for you.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Everything shared during coaching sessions is treated as confidential, in line with professional coaching ethics.
Do you offer group coaching?
Yes. I run group coaching and peer based coaching sessions, including The GROWing Pair Group Coaching programme, which allows participants to learn through observation, reflection, and real coaching in action.
Is coaching right for me?
Coaching is most effective if you are open, curious, and willing to reflect and take action. If you are unsure, a free intro call is the best way to explore whether coaching is the right next step for you.
How do I get started?
You can book a free introductory call through the website. From there, we will discuss your goals and agree on the best way to work together.
